5. The greenhousse is a healthier may of heating the Earth in a healthy way.

Offshore

Offshore drilling is drilling for oil in the ocean.

Offshore drilling isnt good because a pipe can burst and kill sea life.

Offshore drilling is good because the earth soil can have time too heal from all the deforestation due to gas.

I believe that offshore drilling is very bad, but then again the Earth and its people need it.

Astronomy

My favorite part of science has been astronomy. I liked the stars and the galaxies. The spiral,elliptical and irregular are types of galaxies but my favorite is the spiral galaxies. The spiral galaxies are in the andromeda galaxy.

Oceanography when we learned about offshore drilling.

Geology when we started the sedimentary rock examples they are rocks layered in Earth that can be dated by radio carbon or radiometric.

Mertology is when we studied the different boundaries and times like continental polar air masses.

Earth Science

Air Masses

The four types of air masses are:
cP-which is dry cold
cT-which is dry warm
mT-which is wet warm
mP- which is wet cold

My favorite is continental polar because I perfer cold climates rather than warm.

My personal Grade

I believe that I deserve and 85 a b- because my blogs were not done and in on time I started out great at the beginnig of the year then I fell off. I will work on improving.

September 19

Mount St. Helens has not erupted in three and a half years. The first eruptions were in 1980. The lava of this mountain can burst over 10,000 feet.

Earthquakes

In the ocean or near coastlines is where earthquakes mostly happen.

I think because they have faults near them.

I think this area is called the epicenter of faults.

In southeasern Missouri is the nearsest earthquake.

I believe that the most renewable and affordable resource is solar energy is the best renewable source because the sun will be in the sky every day. After the equipment is paided for it will be totally worth it. Then when you are out or at work you can do net metering (where the energy company pays you for your energy and you dont have to pay them.) Also you will be able to provide good clean energy for the world.

I like the Robinson projection because its widely used and I've been using it for awhile all through school and its just an very easy version.

My favorite is oceanography

One reason that I like oeanography is because its the fifth unit in the textbook and thats my favorite number. Also the ability of how humans can create sonar and many other systems to explore the earth is really impressive.
